My client is a global blue chip organisation that is currently looking for a Senior BI Business Analyst to join their team based in London. The ideal candidate would offer strong analytical and statistical skills and have had experience in a similar role within Travel/E-commerce.

Responsibilities of Senior BI Business Analyst:

- Generate high quality SQL code that delivers accurate data sets for modelling and that is reusable, flexible, and extensible
- Interacting with business stakeholders on a number of different levels
- Must have experience of CRM
- Identifying areas where Business Intelligence will be able to benefit and deliver
- Structure work, frame issues, and produce analyses that answer complex business questions in a pragmatic approach
- Learning models, including classification of skewed data, and linear and non-linear optimization
- Perform unit testing and model validation of statistical routines

Skills of Senior BI Business Analyst:

- Customer focused, ability to identify opportunities for business optimization
- Ability to capture customer insights and the aptitude to turn these into viable products
- Experience of customer interactions is integral - client facing skills required
- Exceptional analytical skills and Data Mining
- Exceptional Knowledge of Hadoop/R/SAS/Cognos,/Microstrategy/OBIEE/Tableau
- Exceptional knowledge of SQL
- Experience of CRM in a Contact Centre
- Designing and implementing Analytics solutions
- Exceptional problem solving skills

Qualifications of Senior BI Business Analyst:

- BSc, Maths, Computer Sciences, Economics, statistics, applied mathematics, quantitative methods
