Senior BI Analyst

Our clients are based in the Thames Valley and are looking for a Senior BI Analyst to join there team.

The role of the Senior BI Analyst has the following critical functions;

· To co-ordinate the activity of a small team of business/data analysts.

· To design and standardise reporting on the company's critical success factors

· To provide regular and timely commentary on key movements in critical success

factors and KPIs.

· To provide ad hoc reporting to internal stakeholders.

· To liaise with 3rd parties and maintain integrity of data provided.

· Responsible for CRM/BI data implementation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Support Business Intelligence department with maintenance and updating of sales and

activity reporting and ad-hoc reporting as required on transactional and consolidated

platforms.

· Structure and develop BI reporting systems with the aim to minimise the

work required to make changes, and to minimise the potential for errors produced during

the manipulation of data.

· Assess internal stakeholder requirements and, based on findings, design functional

specifications for reporting documents for senior management on critical success factors

and KPIs.

· Engage in internal IT/Business Improvement project work which, in harmony with the

company goals, aids further career development.

· Responsible for the integrity of the CRM / Business Intelligence database.

· Co-ordinate and monitor 1st line helpdesk calls, ensuring the effective resolution.

Qualifications:

· Professional candidate with proven success as a Senior Business Analyst in CRM and/or

Business Intelligence team.

· Strong Business Analysis experience analysing statistical data

· Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.

· Confident, quick thinking, responsive and solution oriented.

· Analytical skills, solving problems in a methodical and practical way.

· Proactive and self driven.

· Excellent MS office skills including Excel and Access.

· SQL/VBA knowledge desirable.

· Teamwork - Willingness to work with others in a dynamic and demanding environment.

· Full UK driving licence.

· Willingness to travel throughout the UK and abroad when required.
