Senior Business Analyst (Financial Modelling) - Payments, Strategy, Roadmap, Analysis, FP&A, BA, Financial Planning, Cost modelling

Job Type: 12 month Fixed Term Contract (potential for extension)
Salary: £70k-80k + extensive benefits

A Payments company at the forefront of the sector is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead the financial analysis and cost modelling activities for a variety of projects contributing to the strategic direction of the company.

Key responsibilities:

*Lead the design of an approach for cost modelling of the shared infrastructure including analysis of the current collaborative infrastructure costs, future strategic options and the transition costs from current to future
*Responsible for developing and agreeing with stakeholders a cost model, covering development and operational costs, for the strategic end states
*Stakeholder engagement: deal directly with stakeholders across the company as part of conducting cost modelling work and participate in wider stakeholder engagement activities
*Produce high level project plans for the cost modelling work stream, liaising with all team members on interdependencies and feeding plans into the overall strategy programme plan

Skills Required:

*Strong knowledge of UK payments schemes and mechanisms
*Good knowledge of UK regulatory environment for payments
*Knowledge of security and fraud issues within payments
*Good knowledge of building effective financial analysis models (eg spreadsheet models)
*Good experience of cost modelling
*Working knowledge of the financial drivers for payments systems
*Experience working on strategy projects, framing analysis and recommendations at a strategic level
