Senior Axway API Engineer (Unix/Linux/API) 6-12 Months Contract: Multi

SENIOR AXWAY API ENGINEER.

*What is the scope of this project?

Operational support and administration of the Axway API

Management of API, setting up API policies and Certificates

Work with the data integration and application teams to understand & support their requirements.

*What are the key 3-4 technical skills that all candidates must attain? Note* confirm versions of technologies and experience in years

Must have:

7 or 8 years experience as a minimum

Expertise in API management in particular with Axway platform

Experience with common Unix/Linux utilities, diagnostics, and monitoring tools

Excellent communication skills - verbal and written, for technical and non-technical audiences

Excellent analytical and documentation skills

Experience with system configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance

Experience in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts and Web Services

*WHAT DESIRABLES SKILLS WOULD BE USEFUL FOR CANDIDATES TO POSSESS THAT CAN ADD VALUE TOWARDS THE PROJECT?

Highly desirable

Proficiency in Scripting Java, Perl, Shell

German proficiency

Any relevant certification in Axway or API management

PCI DSS certification (Security)
