Senior Authorised Person - 14 Month Contract

I am currently recruiting for my leading renewable energy client for positions in the North East on an offshore wind farm. They are looking for a Senior Authorised Person to work from Monday to Friday until the end of next year on the onshore substation for the first part of the project before being involved with the offshore duties next year. Responsibilities: - Maintain the safety persons working on or near a high-voltage electrical network. - Approve Energisation. - Ensure compliance with the project HSE rules and local legislation. - Oversee HV electrical installations to turbines, offshore substations and 132kV submarine cables as well as onshore cable systems and new onshore substation. - Oversee safe construction of grid connections, onshore substations and associated HV plant and equipment. - Oversee all electrical activities for the purpose of safety, technical review, contractual compliance and operational/;logistics duties. Qualifications and Knowledge: - Senior Authorised Person at 275kV - Technical knowledge of wind farm layout. - HV commissioning experience - HV fault finding and analysis experience - Substation Scada/SCS systems experience Ideally you will have offshore certificates, been previously Seniour Authorised with a DNO and National Grid experience.
