Senior Auditor - Banking

Our client, a leading investment bank based in the City of London, have a new requirement for a Senior Auditor to join their Corporate Audit division.

The Corporate Banking Audit team consists of 20 professional staff based in Canary Wharf. They cover BAC's Corporate Banking and Wealth Management businesses across EMEA and the Operation functions supporting these businesses. They provide coverage to offices across the region including Paris, Frankfurt, Milan, Madrid, Luxembourg, Monaco, Geneva, and Dubai.

Team members gain exposure to both Corporate and Wealth Management businesses and ample opportunities to travel. Auditors are encouraged to maintain effective business relationships to risk assess business processes, influence business management and develop insights.

Responsibilities
*Responsible for executing audit for Corporate Banking across EMEA
*Drafting issues and reports for senior management
*Manage issues including monitoring progress of action plans and validating issues prior to closure
*Promote and influence sound risk management practices with business partners

Requirements
Essential:
*Bachelors' Degree or equivalent, preferably in accounting, finance or related field
*Professional Audit or Accounting Certification
*Substantial experience auditing Corporate Banking or Finance within a financial institution or accounting firm
*Detailed understanding of key processes and products in a Corporate Banking business or Finance function
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
*Proficient use of computer software packages (Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Visio)
*Ability to travel 25-30%

Desirable:

*Sarbanes Oxley Compliance experience
*Foreign languages
