Senior Audit Manager - Life and Pensions - Contract

Our client, a leading life insurance and pensions provider, are currently hiring for a Senior Audit Manager to join their team on a 3 month rolling basis paying up to £600 per day based in London.

You will be responsible for providing specialist independent assurance and insight for designated specialism and business area(s); acting as a business partner, develop effective working relationships with senior business management to drive outcomes that improve the overall control environment; provide specialist skills and knowledge to the wider Internal Audit team.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Deep understanding of designated specialism, ideally with life and pensions experience
- Experience in working at senior levels within a large organisation.
- Experience of audit methodologies and processes, specifically the use and operation of control and risk mitigation strategies.
- Proven ability to lead and deliver an audit portfolio.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Degree level or equivalent education.
- Preferably a professionally qualified auditor.
- Professional qualification in area(s) of specialism.

SKILLS:

- Strong impact and influencing skills and the ability to work with and develop strong working relationships with senior management.
- Good team leadership skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Good planning and organisation skills.
- Pragmatic approach and good understanding of business issues and pressures.
