SR ASSOCIATE RESEARCH OPERATIONS needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in THOUSAND OAKS, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The Inflammation research group in Thousand Oaks is looking for an individual to work with a highly motivated group of scientists with a focus on asthma and COPD.
- The ideal candidate must be proficient with flow cytometry analysis (FACS), have experience handling human blood and tissue samples, and be able to follow established protocols.
- The successful applicant must be able to independently perform data analysis using FlowJo or FCS Express, Graphpad Prism, and Excel and be comfortable with data interpretation and communication of that data.
- Individuals must be comfortable multitasking to support more than one project.
- Finally, the individual will also be responsible for compliance with all applicable SOPs, business practices and company policies.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor or Master's degree in the life sciences such as biology, biochemistry, pharmacology or similar, with 1-5 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and/or an academic laboratory.
- Good written and oral communication skills, the ability to work well in teams, demonstrated technical aptitude and a strong work ethic.
- Good organizational skills and excellent attention to detail are vital to this position.
- Familiarity with experimental techniques in immunology is also desired with experience in handling human patient samples (blood and/or sputum).
