Senior Associate Quality Control Job

SENIOR ASSOCIATE QUALITY CONTROL needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in WOBURN, MA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Experience performing environmental monitoring
- At least two (2) years previous experience in a microbiology lab in the biotech field
- GMP experience in quality

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Performing routine procedures and testing in support of the Environmental and Clean Utility Microbiological Monitoring programs.
- Performing routine laboratory procedures, such as bioburden and endotoxin sample testing, compendial (membrane filtration and kinetic chromogenic) and non-compendial test methods, environmental monitoring and sampling (Laser particle counter/viable air sampler/contact plates), utility water (WFI, etc) sample collection, and utility compressed air and gas collection.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Microbial identification, gram stain, growth promotion and general micro lab tasks.
- Will also be responsible for documenting, computing, compiling, interpreting, reviewing, and entering data.
- Additional responsibilities include providing and communicating results, maintaining/operating specialized equipment, and initiating and/or implementing changes in controlled documents.
- Must learn and comply with safety guidelines, GLP, and cGMPs/CFRs which includes, but is not limited to, the maintenance of training records, written procedures, building monitoring systems, and laboratory log books.
- Previous micro lab experience in GMP settings a must.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelors degree is a minimum in the science related field
