Senior Associate Engineer

SUMMARY:

- Research and investigate the design, functionality and maintenance of electronic control modules. 

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide design support for the development and maintenance of Engine control modules.
- Research and analyze supplier design proposals and specifications and perform design and system analysis.
- Conduct lab testing to verify hardware functionality and oversee validation activities.
- Design lab test equipment for hardware development. Investigate and resolve hardware failures both in development and production modules.

SKILLS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering required.
- Masters in Engineering no experience required.
- Two to four years engineering experience related to electronic hardware or electronic systems required.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

- Team player and detail oriented.
- Displays attributes of a critical thinker and leverages innovative ideas.
- Advanced ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations.
- Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated layouts.
- Previous experience with computer applications and software related to electrical engineering design.
