Senior Architect (SAP GBT)

Harvey Nash is looking for a Senior Architect (SAP GBT) for a 11 + month project in Switzerland.

This position is to support and enhance the SAP GBT (Batch Traceability) processes and functionalities, as well as complete the developments.

You are responsible for -Designing, building, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing existing system functionality; developing new features per business requirements for SAP GBT systems
-Implementing enhancements as per defined change management process for SAP GBT platform
-Creating system documentation, including functional and technical specifications, installation scripts, OQs/PQs, test plans, and scripts
-Supporting business in creation of SOPs, Work Instructions, Training, etc. as needed
-Interfacing with SAP developers to create program documents and ensure integrity of design performance
-Ensuring validation, audit, and legal compliance of system throughout life cycle
-Providing content knowledge on Incident, Problem, and Change management processes to appropriate IT teams
-Collaborating with other IT teams to implement solutions that optimize operational performance of SAP GBT system
-Driving coordination of activities for small-to-medium changes in area of responsibility; provide 2nd/3rd level support as needed
-Coordinating and supporting upgrades - support packs, enhancement packs, system-wide, database, etc for SAP GBT
-Helping drive process improvement initiatives to optimize user experience and business understanding of solution

Requirements

-7+ years of relevant experience in a multinational company as a Solution Architect in the area of SAP GBT (at least 2/3 years of experience in including a full-life cycle implementation)
-SAP MM, SAP SD skills (at least 2/3 years of experience)
-Great customer focus skills and attention to details (proactive, communicative and a "thinker")
-Proactive investigation of issues and functionalities that may be required
-Great communication skills (excellent English language skills, German & French a Plus)
-Great team player
-Strong leadership skills and proven track record of decision taking and escalations handling
-CSV background and experience in working with IT Quality
-Experience in multi-site deployment project
-Experience in leading teams
