Senior Architect (Network & Infrastructure)

The contract is with a consultancy to be on an assignment to a large European site in den Haag Netherlands as follows:

Tasks to be performed

The consultant will perform the following tasks/services in the area of Network and Infrastructure Architecture:

In general:

Produce, maintain, update, disseminate and expand the set of baseline architecture documentation, including the landscape of ICT infrastructure solutions and their respective roadmaps aligned with the business strategy on one side and with the IT evolution on the other side

In particular:

- PROVIDE AN ARCHITECTURE CONTRIBUTION TO THE ONGOING DEVELOPMENT OF THE ORGANISATIONS MOBILITY STRATEGY. TECHNOLOGY LAYERS INCLUDE GOOD TECHNOLOGY, IOS, CITRIX, SINA
- PROVIDE ARCHITECTURE GUIDANCE AND REVIEW FOR A CLIENT VIRTUALIZATION DESIGN BASED ON CITRIX XENAPP/XENDESKTOP TECHNOLOGY
- PROVIDE ARCHITECTURE GUIDANCE AND REVIEW FOR A PROJECT THAT IS TASKED TO MERGE A LARGE IPVPN/MPLS BASED WIDE AREA NETWORK TO THE EXISTING INTERNATIONAL IPVPN/MPLS BASED WIDE AREA NETWORK

PROVIDE ARCHITECTURE GUIDANCE ON VARIOUS SMALL INFRASTRUCTURE RELATED PROJECTS AND A CONTRIBUTION TO TACTICAL ENHANCEMENTS FOR THE ICT INFRASTRUCTURE COMPONENTS OF THE BUSINESS AREA

REQUIRES:- MANDATORY:

Knowledge of Enterprise architecture: professional knowledge in the processes and methods of an established enterprise architecture function, involved in architecture definition, specification, change management and in providing architecture supervision and support to IT delivery projects
