Senior Architect

SolTech, an industry leading technology firm, is looking for a Senior Architect to help implement a web-based system that will be used by a distributed sales force for selling a suite of products. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who has advanced into an architecture role, and prefers to formulate/architect solutions based on business needs and integration requirements, verses doing the actual development.

Responsibilities:

- Work effectively in a fast paced, frequently changing environment
- Work closely with business analysts, project managers and technical leads
- Attend meetings
- Document solutions based upon business requirements
- Coordinate and organize activities with development teams
- Assist with data mapping, identifying system modifications, and conceptualizing data
- Diagram proposed solutions for ongoing discussions

Qualifications:

- 5+ years experience creating and documenting interface and system design from business requirements and complex system relationships
- 5+ years experience using MS Visio application
- 3-5 years experience with web services and XML schema
- Knowledge of network security concepts including Firewall, DMZ, Proxy Server, VPN, and DLP3-5 years experience with data mapping and metadata
- 2-3 years experience in project management
- Experience with customizing a packaged software product (at least one full life cycle)
- Experience documenting business processes and workflows
- Experience with PHI and PCI compliance
- Experience in the insurance vertical
- Experience with system testing
- Experience with C#.NET is a plus
