Senior Applications System Engineer

Our client is a hugely popular computer components company looking for an Applications/System Engineer to provide development, QA and deployment of CDE bridge between various ALM tools such as RTC, Clearquest, Contour, Quality Center (HP), Team Center etc.

OVERVIEW

- Work with Customer on analysing the requirements and documenting the requirements
- Use the application developed internally to capture requirements
- Work with bridge developer and customer in creating test cases
- Executing the test cases in development/test environment
- Create and track bugs
- Support the deployment process
- Validate bugs reported by customers
- Additionally develop scripts to be able to automate the testing

REQUIREMENTS

- 4+ years of Quality Assurance in Web and Windows environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical skills to analyze the use cases and develop test cases
- Strong analytical skills to be able to find and analyze the bugs
- 2-4 years of testing or supporting Application life cycle tools such as CQ, Rational Team Concert Applications
- Skills in developing automation scripts for application testing preferred
- Knowledge of Linux not required but would be helpful
