Senior Applications Developer/Senior Developer - Finance System (Contract)

Central London - Contract, £300- £400 per day

This is a brilliant opportunity to work for a leading global law firm that is looking for a Senior Applications Developer to join their team! You will be involved in developing, testing, support and maintenance of the firm's finance systems.

Key Skills Required:
Proficient knowledge of C# and the .NET Framework
MS SQL Server 2005/2008
Experience with an enterprise scale financial systems is essential
Experience of a Practice Management System (PMS) such as Elite 3E or Aderant is essential
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005/2010

Role:
To build highly-performing enterprise solutions that increase staff productivity and improve financial performance.
Development will be focused around in-house customisation to their Practice Management System, Elite 3E.
You will be working closely with the Business Analysts and other functional experts to ensure all technical aspects of the project are delivered as planned.
Provide technical support for delivered software product to other development team members and members of the wider Global Finance Group.

You will need to be an autonomous individual and able to use your own initiative.
Excellent communication Skills are a must!
Strong knowledge of software architecture and design experience working in a development group that develops business-critical applications.
Able to interact positively at all levels within the firm and a good team player.
Able to make decisions and remain calm while under pressure - particularly when dealing with difficult situations.
Ability to provide accurate time estimates for work to be undertaken and drive to ensure commitments are achieved.
Professional in outlook, attitude and appearance.

Candidates must have worked within the 3E Integrated Development Environment (IDE) delivering solutions.Reporting/metric developments will be highly beneficial. Developing integrations within Biztalk would also be highly beneficial.
