Senior Web Developers needed to develop and maintain an internal collaboration platform and other R&D related activities. Candidates must be able to develop in and maintain a LAMP environment. Candidates must be self-starters, requiring minimal direction from the supervisor, and be able to deliver user friendly designs based on high level requirements. Extensive experience with Agile Development methodologies required.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, build and maintain web sites, using open sourced Scripting languages
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation on the code/projects you work on
- Work with team to develop metrics and reporting tools on internal collaboration program
- Review problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and schedule/implement corrective measures
- Advise and direct management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria or choose solutions
- Direct development or validation of test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces
- Work with supervisor to evolve the SDLC and other development processes

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent training/work experience required
- 8+ years total experience required
- 6+ years of experience using at least 1 open sourced development language (ie. PHP, Python, Ruby, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience using and developing in at least one Open Source Development Framework (ie. Zend, Zope, Rails, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of how to administer and managing all aspects of a LAMP environment
- Expert knowledge DHTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Expert knowledge of database schema modelling and SQL querying
- Expert knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in creating scalable web portals and Enterprise 2.0 applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Expert ability to work independently and manage ones time

ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS

- 2+ years experience with HTML5
- 3+ years experience with JQuery
- 1+ years of .Net development experience (C# preferred)
- Experience developing in or integrating with Microsoft SharePoint
- Experience using Tableau or other data visualization tools
