Our client is one of the worlds leading financial services looking for a highly motivated, self-driven SharePoint Developer to take the lead in developing a centralized online application providing the Brand Marketing community access to documents (pdf or word), videos, and specified URLS where users can learn about developing functional capabilities. This Developer will work with the assigned PM and UI Designer to design, develop and implement an application for Global Brand Marketing, leveraging a dedicated SharePoint farm. The internally hosted and accessed Web based application is to be designed to maintain a comprehensive collection of data that will offer the Global Brand Marketing easy access.

DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES INCLUDE:

- Act as technical lead for the design, creation, and implementation of this SharePoint application
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications; facilitating compromise between business requirements and technical feasibility,
- Work with PM and UI Designer to design, develop and deploy the SharePoint solution using SharePoint 2013 Shared Services, SQL Server, IIS, HTML, Active Directory, SSO, CSS and JavaScript
- Ensure detailed design aligns with solution design
- Complete all development and associated application documentation

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

- 5+ years of experience in designing and developing customized SharePoint solutions
- 3+ years of extensive hands-on development experience with SharePoint 2007/2010
- Applied experience with SharePoint (2010 & 2013), Shared Services, Microsoft SQL Server, HTML4/5, Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, object model, security model, and caching mechanisms
- Experience with Front End development techniques
- High degree of technical competency in software development management practices, project and program management, and ability to balance and bridge technology and business needs
- Multi-national, large-scale, global deployment experience
- Broad understanding of Information Technology (IT) Service Delivery and the ability to effectively interact with business partners
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively with business partners
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Effective self-management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to coach and mentor team partners to facilitate resolution of issues
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
