Senior Application Systems Adminstrator

Yoh has a six (6) month plus contract opportunity for two (2) SENIOR (SR.) APPLICATION SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATORS to join our client in Indianapolis, IN.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The position provides database, web server and application administration, enterprise systems maintenance, and technical user support in a multi-tiered 24x7 environment.
- Responsible for Life cycle administration including installation, upgrades, patches and maintenance for database and application software.
- Works as part of a team for the development, implementation, and ongoing support of enterprise application software systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, consult, and resolve problems with complex systems in an enterprise database/web server environment.
- Responsible for ensuring the availability, scalability, and backup and recovery of enterprise systems.
- Develop, implement and maintain appropriate monitoring to ensure high system availability and maximum performance and security for critical enterprise systems, as well as developing and/or coding software for operating systems and system utilities to assist in the support of the environment.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Advanced Linux and Windows experience.
- Intermediate VMware experience.
- Intermediate Oracle and SQL Server experience (Must know how to run SQL queries and be able to review results for errors/execute backups and restores).
- Intermediate Web Administration experience.
- ITIL experience a plus.
