Senior Application Support Analyst Job

SENIOR APPLICATION SUPPORT ANALYST needed for a LONG-TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in St. Petersburg, FL.

MUST BE CURRENTLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US FOR ANY EMPLOYER. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION DOES NOT ALLOW FOR WORKING REMOTELY, AS SUCH THE INCUMBENT MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE IN CLIENT'S ST. PETERSBURG, FL LOCATION.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Direct and contribute to the technical break/fix, design, build, testing, implementation and support of application systems for the Sales and Marketing area.
- Ensure secure, efficient, and economic availability of applications processing with adequate safeguards for both security and integrity.
- Translate identified business and technical requirements into designs in accordance with enterprise standards and architectures.
- Is able to resolve complex issues that require significant freedom of action and sound judgment
- Recognizes appropriate times to raise issues and provide status updates
- Perform development, enhancement and support services for assigned product families
- Demonstrate broad knowledge of application and systems design
- Manage complex inter-system related issues
- Serve as an interface between team members and vendor/support teams to ensure issues are escalated, classified and documented properly.
- Consult with customers to define and refine their business requirements; communicate problems, issues and their resolution to customers.
- Strives for continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
- Helps ensure conformance to all Client IT Standards and Controls such as Enterprise-wide Technology Architecture (EWTA) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Manages and maintains positive relationships with Contact Center business partners

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or has three to five (3-5) years of related business experience.
- Working knowledge of customer area Client Server applications
- Ability to learn/adapt quickly to a rapidly changing environment - ability to manage change
- Development experience with web services and web-based applications
- Well-versed in C# .Net, Classic ASP, Server Administration and XML, Desktop Troubleshooting
- Experience with tools utilized in support and manage of SQL, DB2 and/or Oracle databases
- Familiar with Microsoft's .NET Framework versions, Oracle 10g, DB2 and SQL databases
- Well-versed in troubleshooting problems and finding solutions or options for technical issues
- Competent in the use of development tools and procedures of software development methodology
- Experience in consulting with internal customers on proposed systems changes; prioritizing, scoping and estimating work.
- Displays maturity in approach and ability to effectively handle stress and frustration.
- Demonstrates good listening skills and puts forth the effort to understand other's point of view.
- Is able to present information on technically complex subjects in an understandable manner to IT and business personnel.
- Experience in a deadline oriented position that requires accuracy and attention to detail.
- Flexible with work schedule

- Previous experience in Sales and Marketing Applications
- Previous experience with Vendor Supported Applications
- Experience with PL/SQL
- Experience with IIS Administration

- Potential for travel to other company locations/cities
