Senior Application Packager, Windows Installer (MSI), Microsoft AppV

Strategic Technologies are a specialist organisation with expertise in the architecture and delivery of intuitive Desktop and Application solutions.

We are currently looking for a Senior Application Packagers, permanent roles and contract to join our growing team of specialists.

Following a structured process the ideal candidate for this role would be comfortable taking intitiaitve and have an intimate understanding of the Windows Installer (MSI) technology using either Installshield or Wise Package Studio, Admin Studio and Microsoft App-V with experience of large-scale software deployment in corporate environments. You will have also worked with Citrix Xenapp and packaged applications to a thin environment.

It is anticipated that in order to be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

Expert knowledge of Microsoft AppV sequencing
Expert Knowledge of Windows Installer (MSI) technology
Understanding of AppSense and user personalisation
Deploying applications via SCCM
Publishing applications via Citrix XenApp
Good Scripting skills for package customisation
Any experience with Citrix XenDesktop desirable

Security Clearance advantageous
