Senior Application (Java/.NET) Developer Job

SENIOR APPLICATION (JAVA/.NET) DEVELOPER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION DOES NOT ALLOW FOR WORKING REMOTELY, AS SUCH THE INCUMBENT MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE IN CLIENT'S CHARLOTTE, NC LOCATION.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The primary scope of this position is Software Change Management Continuous Integration Processes.
- The primary responsibilities for this position is to configure and support an automated software continuous integration platform for Version Control, software build and that interfaces with software release end point server environments.
- Support general coding needs using Java and .Net.
- Maintain and improve build and continuous integration systems
- Monitor build and continuous integration process
- Work with Architects to define emerging Enterprise Standards are developed, improved and maintained
- Engage software development teams, security, operations, QA and project management teams to prepare for projects
- Troubleshoot Java and .NET build issues throughout the Continuous Integration Cycle
- Provide recommendations to monitor and improve continuous integration and continuous delivery infrastructure
- Identify issues and collaborate with stake holders on solutions
- Analyze and modify build and release configurations and processes to support changing needs and environments
- Assist in defining industry best practices for an enterprise continuous integration solution.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience in software build/release management
- Experience with Software Change Management Tools
- Experience with multiple OS environments - Linux, Windows
- Experience with Multi-platform builds using continuous integration tools preferably Jenkins
- Experience using and maintaining source code repositories such as Subversion, TFS, Nexus,
- Experience with source control especially branching, merging, and troubleshooting merges
- Experience developing with Java (required)
- Experience developing with .NET
- Experience with multiple build tools Eclipse, Visual Studio and others
- Knowledge of Waterfall and/or Agile Development Methodologies
