Senior Application Expert FI/CO OSLO

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES

- IMPLEMENTATION NEW GENERAL LEDGER!
- Finance and Controlling subject matter expert and design responsible, focusing on SAP R3 FI/CO solutions, related SAP AM and SAP CFM functionalities as well as on integrated third party solutions.
- Ensure best in class maintenance and monitoring services to SAP and satellites deployed solutions and functionalities, guaranteeing their continuous availability, reliability and efficiency.
- Provide functional expertise enabling to manage and improve its business decisionial and operational activities using SAP and other integrated solutions.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Application Operational activities

- Ensure maintenance/development services are provided according to defined service levels, governance and service procedures. Drive external service providers accordingly.
- Level 3 maintenance and support of the deployed Solutions.
- Solutions and functionalities lifecycle management, with focus on incident trend/problem follow up, request management, change, release and test management, documentation management.
- Minimize operational risk and ensure solutions remain available and in line with requirements.
- Increase solution performance and utilization efficiency through improvement initiatives, SAP solution training and promotion, SAP and industry best practices recommendations.
- Maintain and document key information and roadmap related to the application/functionalities and the processes/services in place to manage them.
- Develop quality management governance and related guidelines. Secure maintenance and development activities are provided in accordance to defined governance.
- Support super user network and key-stakeholders, maintaining their knowledge level, providing service report and advice, organizing training and workshops. Actively contribute to discussions and community forums.
- Ensure transition of development to business as usual services and related knowledge acquisition.

Application Development activities

- Actively participate as expert and design authority to global projects and development activities, focusing on requirement gathering, functional analysis and advice, technical solution design and prototyping, implementation tracking and solution transfer to business.
- Manage projects dedicated to your expertise area and ensure deliverables in time, scope and budget.

EDUCATION

- Degree, preferable master (minimum Bachelor) within Business Administration/Engineering/Computer Science with minimum 8 years relevant professional experience. Long relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education.

SKILLS

- Minimum 5 Years experience as SAP FI/CO functional analyst with preferably 2 years of consulting experience. SAP Certification is a plus.
- Additional expertise in other SAP components, specially AM, CFM and CO/PA, in application integration, as well as with other Finance and Controlling oriented applications will be highly appreciated.
- Proven experience implementing and enabling inventory and purchasing solutions in large industrial companies using SAP Solutions.
- Combined knowledge and interest mix between business and technology.
- Experience in ITIL processes, service delivery and operation outsourcing are a plus.
- Strong analytical skills combined with good level of communication and training skills.
- Ability to work independently, defining targets and prioritizing tasks in a demanding environment.
- Structured, customer service minded, team-player, proactive and highly committed.
- English (fluent written and spoken). Other European languages are a plus
- Proven ability to assess business requirements, design solutions, produce functional analysis/technical document and implement solutions.
- Project management experience. Project Management certification is a plus.
