Senior Application Engineer - SAP HR BI Consulting

For a 2 month project with our client in Basel, we are looking ASAP for a Senior Application Engineer- SAP HR BI Consulting.

The aim of the project is to create new subareas for the existing HR BW reporting solution. Thus, the task until the end of the year includes planning, designing, and implementing two new reporting subareas end to end. This requires creating extractors in SAP HCM, staging data flows in BW, InfoProviders, reports (queries, web templates)

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field. Bachelors Degree in other fields with equivalent work experience considered.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BW implementations and expert understanding of SAP BW is required
- Prior Back End and Front End development experience required in BW 7.x environments (7.4 would be an advantage)
- Customization skills custom DataSources, complex transformations and DTPs, InfoProviders
- SAP Authorization knowledge including BW Analysis authorizations
- Report design skills - strong knowledge of BEx Query Designer, Web Application Designer
- ABAP coding skills including Object ABAP
- Experience with HR Functional Area in BW and/or with SAP HCM
- Experience working in a project environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English

This position will be 100% onsite in Basel. It would however be possible to work part time. Please note that we will only be able to accept CVs in Engish.
