Senior Application Engineer - Manufacturing Systems

For our Pharma client in Basel we are looking for a

SENIOR APPLICATION ENGINEER

Background:
Our client is looking for a Professional Application Engineer (Scientific & Manufacturing) to work for the "Global Solution Center - Manufacturing IT", which is supporting Pharma Global Technical Operations, located at Kaiseraugst, Switzerland.

The focus of this position is an on-going project in the Shop-floor Serialization area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Support activities of a Shop-floor Serialization application upgrade and roll-out
- Create and update technical project documentation
- Responsible for agreed project CSV documentation (CSV compliance, accurate technical content, on-time delivery)
- Coordination and alignment of project documentation-related topics within the project team (global)
- Identification, analysis, resolution and eventual escalation of technical and documentation issues

MUST HAVES:
- +8 years of experience in the relevant area (must be visible in the last projects)
- Proven record of successful projects in a highly regulated industry like Pharmaceuticals
- Strong experience in CSV and GxP compliance (process and software)
- Shop-floor Serialization experience
- Analytical thinking, structured approach to resolution of issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to arbitrate between a wide range of stakeholders to come to a solution (former work experience with stakeholders is highly desired)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)

+++ Experience with global/multi-site Manufacturing projects
++ German speaking

START DATE: 25.06.2018 (LATEST 02.07.2018)
END DATE: 28.02.2019
WORKLOAD: 80%
WORK LOCATION: KAISERAUGST (60% SUPPORT ON-SITE NEEDED)
REMOTE/HOME OFFICE: POSSIBLE ONCE A WEEK (20%)
