Senior Application Engineer

Description:
• Manages simple applications or products (Junior) or highly complex / multiple
applications or products (Senior)
• Responsible for the continuity of the applications
• Maintains and controls applications in terms of efficiency and output
• Responsible functional / technical areas of demand
• Performs program tests and test of interfaces
• Updates technical and functional documentation
• Responsible for correct delivery of release processes
• Be on stand-by when needed
Requirement Specification:
Profile/skills
* Analytical skills !
* Relational modelling (DataVault knowledge is a plus)
* XML (XCCDF)
* XML parser tool or Powercenter skills are a plus Tasks:
* Understand XCCDF, a XML based specification language for security checklists and benchmarks (see scap.nist.gov/specifications/xccdf/)
* Specify the ETL process to transform specific parts from the XCCDF data (the source) to a datawarehouse relational database (the target), based on the business requirements about the data needed for reporting.
* Design: Modify or extend the existing DataVault datamodel in the datawarehouse to store specific parts of the
XCCDF data
* Assist with the implementation of the ETL Knowledge of Informatica Powercenter is a plus, because the ETL
will be implemented in Powercenter or in an standalone XML parser, as a preprocessor to Powercenter.
