Senior Application Development Lead

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We create medium fidelity HTML mock ups of functionality that allow end users to interact with their benefits. We have an accelerated schedule to move functionality from our older platform to a new portal platform and refresh our mobile apps. This is a user experience designer role. The UX Designer will work with the UX team to create prototypes based on an existing style guide which shows the functionality our business sponsors request. This is a fast-paced and complex project, and the UX designer is expected to be independent, manage their own work, and be an active part of the team.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years design experience-of which three most recent have been web focused.
Bachelors or advanced degree in design.
Strong online portfolio of work to demonstrate skills.
Excellent visual design and UX skills including: typography, information design, interactive/web design, and communication design.
Strong evidence of achieving high-quality user experience solutions in complex settings for large-scale web sites and applications.
Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, Photoshop and other design and prototyping tools.
Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (eg, jQuery, YUI, AUI) and accessibility (eg, WCAG 2.0) is a plus.
Designing for portal based web sites using responsive design concepts strongly preferred.
Experience with Native iOS, Android design development strongly preferred.
Success working in a fast-paced and deadline oriented environment.
Familiarity with Agile development methodology.
