Senior Application Developer/Support Analyst Job

SENIOR APPLICATION DEVELOPER/SUPPORT ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC.

Top Skills You Should Possess:
- C#/ASP.NET development
- SQL and Oracle database programming

What You'll Be Doing:
- Senior Application Developer/Support Analyst on the Fossil Hydro Solution Support Team.
- Role comprises of 50% development and 50% support.
- The team delivers application development and support services for the Duke Energy Fossil and Hydro Generation business.
- The team provides end user support, application broke fix issue resolution, application maintenance, and enhancement services.
- The position can be requested to perform application development for large IT projects for FH.
- Provide IT application development services
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing software in a production environment to minimize application down time
- Participant in after hour callout approximately every 6 weeks

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Applied working experience with SSRS, C#, AJAX, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, HTML, XML. SQL and Oracle Database programming
- Required three (3) plus years of experience in application development and application solution delivery process
- Ability to create and troubleshoot web service based SOA (service oriented architecture systems in a distributed enterprise environment
- Excellent customer interfacing and service skills
- Ability to multi task effectively, self-starter, and ability to work with minimum supervision.

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical demonstrated proficiency in administration of IIS7
- A strong knowledge of Windows 2008 security and sharing models
- Experience with other tools such as Informatica, MQ, Web Methods, Dimensions
