For a project at our banking client site in Zurich with a January 2016 start date we are looking for an experienced

SENIOR APPLICATION DEVELOPER - ORACLE & DATABASE [ORACLE/MS ACCESS](3207)

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- Dynamic, pro-active and self-motivated mentality with ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills, very good language skills in English, GERMAN AS AN ADVANTAGE
- STRONG WORKING EXPERIENCE WITH ORACLE TECHNOLOGIES: PLSQL JAVA/JEE, DESIGN-PATTERNS, XML/XML SCHEMA AND SHELL (UNIX)
- Good team player who is willing to learn and grow with the team
- Good knowledge with database (Oracle, Hibernate, SQL,MS Access )
- Experience in the platforms Windows, Solaris and Linux (Red hat)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

- Challenging role as Senior Developer for developing and supporting various applications
- Responsibilities would involve application development and support
- Analysis, validation and implementation of customer requirements in coordination with the team
- Designing, implementing and maintaining databases (Oracle and MS Access)
- Writing specifications, do the engineering, design and implementation of new requirements
- Creating and optimizing advanced database queries to retrieve and manipulate information for reporting purposes
- Creating and updating technical and business documentation
