Senior Application Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES:

- The Senior HTML5 UI Developer will work in a team environment to develop user interfaces and underlying data structures using HTML5, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- The developer will utilize detailed requirements to code applications to corporate standards.
- Programming, architecture and design will be expected.
- The Sr. HTML5 UI Developer will be responsible for leading technical discussions and producing high-quality project documentation.
- Will need to communicate and coordinate with local team members and remote architects.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- The MOST important area of expertise is: UI Web Accessibility development standards (Keyboard Navigation, Color Contrast, Screen Reader Support). The candidate must be able to speak fluently about these standards as features with product owners, project managers, and architects; also must be able to design and develop the application based on the feature requests.
- Candidate will need to have the proven ability to design, develop and implement high-quality code in a timely manner.
- The ideal candidate will have a detailed understanding of UI Web application development techniques, and Agile development approaches.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in HTML5 and AJAX is required.
- Must have minimum 8 years experience developing complex, consumer oriented, web applications.

Required Languages:

- HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3
- UI Web Accessibility Development: Keyboard, Navigation, Color Contrast, Screen Reader Support.
