For our client, Financial Services company, is looking for an experienced SENIOR API ENGINEER FOR 9-MONTHS CONTRACT, who is passionate about innovation, to help us build and run a highly efficient, scalable, and customizable API Management Platform for their services.
You will develop and maintain API's for multiple lines of business within an efficient Agile SDLC and act as an advocate for the API Management platform. You will work cross-functionally with Architects, Engineers, Business Analysts, and Service Managers across multiple teams in a rapidly evolving environment. You will partner with and enable business app developers to evangelize the use of SOA best practices by focusing on scalability, maintainability, and reuse. The high-level goal of this position is to accelerate customer adoption and increase customer engagement of the API Management Platform.
Be a part of a select team that creates an API Platform that will service the entire company and its clients.
Use your interpersonal skills to work very closely with application architects, and multiple lines of business to deliver mission critical solutions.
WHAT WE NEED IN YOU:
Expert level knowledge on installation, administration, customization, and operation of the AXWAY API Gateway product. The person will be responsible for providing comprehensive education and skills transfer to new members of the team with no prior experience with Axway API Gateway.
THE PERSON WILL NEED TO LEAD THE UPGRADE OF THE DEV, QA, AND PRODUCTION AXWAY API GATEWAY AND LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT.
The person will participate in our BAU customer integration (existing use cases) and customer engineering (new use cases) day to day activities as well and join our on-call rotation.
