Senior Android Developer Job

SR ANDROID DEVELOPER needed for a TWO YEAR CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Seattle, WA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- 3 years Android app development
- NDK and IDE experience
- 5 years Object Oriented development

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Performing as technical lead on software development projects with responsibility for overall delivery of software components.
- Collaborating with other platforms tech leads to ensure integrated end-to-end design
- Documenting design decisions and ensuring adherences
- Developing Android native applications
- Supporting QA during testing, and oversight during implementation into production.
- Conducting design & code reviews
- Tracking developers' bandwidth to assist in resource allocation.
- Supporting PM in technical tasks & delivery schedule development
- Reviewing system test scenarios & test cases.
- Monitoring operating efficiency of existing application systems.
- Providing oversight to Vendor's technical design and code delivery.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- 5+ years Object Oriented software development experience
- 3+ years of experience developing, designing, and implementing enterprise Android native applications
- Real world Android development using Android Tools
- Experience with Continuous integration
- Experience unit testing
- Proven track record of delivering quality, mission critical, enterprise systems
- Experience with client-service communication protocols (JSON, REST, XML).
- Experience with recognized industry patterns, methodologies, and techniques
- Experience building complex Apps
- Real world experience with native mobile application store deployment
- Strong communication and organizational skills

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with iOS and XCode is a plus
