SENIOR ANDROID DEVELOPER

My client is looking for enthusiastic, talented and experienced Android developers for Android mobile and tablet applications.

The successful Senior Android Developer will have thorough knowledge of the latest relevant developments in the mobile space and will be capable of mastering new technologies? You will be competent at creating great applications and be responsible for working on the most advanced apps.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an Android developer you will be actively involved in all the aspects of the development of the Android and/or tablet products. Beside co-developing the application, your contribution to the design of the architecture, the functionality and the user experience will be of importance. You also will be working closely with other development teams, Server Side development and design department. For more information please have a look at the Android app.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

* A higher professional education or university degree (BSc, MSc)

* Extensive knowledge of Java

* At least 5 years of experience in developing or creating Android apps

* Familiar with agile methodologies (scrum/XP)

* Knowledge of VOIP and XMPP, will be considered a benefit

* Knowledge of Jingle, RTP. Test automation is a plus.

* Knowledge of SQL, iOS, C/C++, Windows Phone, will be considered a benefit

* Good communication skills in English (verbally and written)

* Passion for mobile applications

* Analytical, capable of working independently as well as being a team-player
