Senior Analytical Chemist

* Provides analytical method development to the process chemistry development group.
* Provides analytical method validation and method transfer to the QC group.
* Designs and performs experiments that contribute to project goals.
* Coordinates analytical activities to meet project timelines
* Acts as the analytical chemistry expert for assigned projects.
* Responsible for methods and instruments troubleshooting.
* Evaluates technical feasibility of new projects.
* Makes detailed observations, analyzes data, and interprets results.
* Clearly documents experimental research in laboratory notebooks.
* Maintains up-to-date laboratory records in accordance with company guidelines.
* Conducts literature research to identify and select relevant method development protocols.
* Writes technical reports to summarize research experiments.
* Represents the company at scientific meetings.
* Responsible for launching, overseeing and carrying out projects in Quality Control.
* Mentors and fosters scientific skills of other analytical chemists

This position requires a Ph.D. degree with a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in analytical chemistry in a FDA-regulated environment.
