Disney Media Distribution looks after the development and implementation of commercial initiatives for the linear and digital distribution of The Walt Disney Company's channels and content. The EMEA team works with regional broadcast and digital partners, ensuring the delivery of compelling and creative Disney-branded and non-branded entertainment to viewers via a variety of platforms across the EMEA region.

The Senior Analyst, Strategy & Business Development will work within the Disney Media Distribution EMEA Digital team, based in our Hammersmith offices in London. He will support the Director of Strategy & Business Development, Digital in the development of our digital distribution strategy in EMEA and in driving incremental revenue through the identification and execution of new digital initiatives, services and partnerships across our digital portfolio (including movies, TV shows, games, apps, e-books and music).

The successful candidate will (without limitation): Synthesise market data to identify key digital market trends and implications for TWDC's distribution business, and monitor competitive landscapeAnalyse our partners' ecosystem and our content portfolio, define new products and/or distribution opportunities, create business cases and financial forecasts, prepare presentations to review business opportunities and share best practices across the EMEA region;

You will also assist in the Annual Operating PlanSupport the implementation and / or monitor the performance of new or existing initiatives, products or business lines.

ABOUT YOU:

- Bachelor Degree from a leading university with outstanding academics and a major in Finance or Strategy
- Experience working in a top-tier firm in strategy consulting or investment banking and experience working in strategy/business development in digital media distribution essential
- Experience in developing distribution strategies for video and non-video digital products - including apps, games, e-books and music - essential
- Experience in the physical or digital retail industries including demonstrable knowledge of pricing strategy considerations and an understanding of key objectives and success factors for wholesalers and retailers
- Experience in evaluating new digital retailing solutions and executing the pan-territory roll-out of these solutions to help drive transactional digital growth
- Experience in a pay-TV or content licensing environment and demonstrable ability to define commercial strategies that deliver increased fee generation
- Experience creating complex quantitative models to help inform critical business investment decisions
- Ability to develop and utilise frameworks to formulate problem-solving approaches, map dependencies & implications, and support the resolution of complex business issues.
- Solid knowledge of key financial metrics and performance indicators
- Demonstrable track record of engaging and interacting with senior level executives
- Solid understanding of the digital media market, including macro digital media trends, evolution of content windowing and value drivers
- Understanding of MCNs including market trends, key players, consumer behaviour, and business models for content monetisation
- Experience writing market reports and communicating digital media intelligence to inform relevant stakeholders
