Westhouse offers the entire range of IT consulting services. We operate a worldwide network of highly qualified consult-ants and developers.
For our big client we are looking for:
SENIOR ANALYST PROGRAMMER XML/XSLT 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
The contractor will perform analysis, design and construction tasks in the context of development and maintenance works on Web applications conformant with the W3C standards. These tasks will be executed on existing or new Web applications.
The person will show a commitment to method and a thorough approach to development and testing. The person needs to be experienced in the development of Web applications.
This requires excellent knowledge and experience of HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery and of the facilities that are provided by an Application Server for the generation of dynamic pages.
In addition, the candidate needs to have a good experience of either the Coldfusion Application Server or another comparable Application Server, used with a RDBMS.
S/He must have an advanced knowledge and practise of either XSLT 2.0 (XSL transformations) with XPath 2.0 or of the Kendo/UI library.
The person will have to contribute to the evolution of the technical architecture currently in use at the Service, thanks to her/his knowledge of current technology and her/his interest in the evolutions of the Web environment.
The candidates shall have:
- Current development framework is essentially based on the use of XML transformations (XSLT), hosted on a Coldfusion platform.
- UML is used for analysis and design works in the broader context of the RUP methodology.
- Web tools and techniques (xhtml, javacript/CSS, jQuery, Kendo/UI) are the basis of the user interface design. The XML standards comprise, by order of importance, XSLT, SOAP and Schematron.
- For specific needs, Java components may be written and/or used. Oracle is the RDBMS, with a large use of PL*SQL.
- Development tools are currently Dreamweaver MX, Oracle SQL Developer and XmlSpy. The development framework may change significantly depending on the evolution of technology and users' needs.
