Our client, an important multinational company, is looking for his branch in Brussels for a:

SENIOR ANALYST PROGRAMMER VB NET WITH AT LEAST 9 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

EXPERTISE:
Visual Basic, NET 4.0 for developing Windows forms applications Entity Framework 4, WCF

TASKS:
The Senior Analyst Programmer will work on the technical analysis, development and maintenance of service oriented software framework with J2EE architecture and Oracle databases. The tasks to be performed include:

- Technical analysis and technical specifications of service oriented software based on user requirements/functional analysis.
- Development and maintenance of service oriented software (Java, JBoss, Spring Integration and Oracle DB and Application Server).
- Applying an appropriate quality assurance: unit testing, functional testing, integration testing, performance testing and code coverage checking.
- Packaging and releasing software to the open source community.
- Production of technical documentation and managing content for the open source community.
- Providing technical support to the open source community.
- Involvement in regular meetings with project management, enterprise architect and business analysts..

REQUIREMENTS:

- Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments.
- Good knowledge of English both oral and written. Good knowledge of French will be appreciated.
- Experience and affinity with Object Oriented (OO) software developments;
- Strong analytical skills and an accurate and structural working attitude;
- JAVA/JEE knowledge including proven experience with JPA and Spring (having a Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) certificate is an advantage);
- JEE web development expertise including proven experience with MVC frameworks (eg Spring MVC), JavaScript and JavaScript libraries (eg jQuery), JSP and related tag libraries;
- Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS and abilityto write SQL queries; Knowledge of MySQL is an advantage.
- Knowledge of development methodologies (eg RUP) and modelling (eg UML).
- Configuration management using a version control tool (eg Subversion).
- Strong customer oriented attitude Knowledge of Java UI frameworks (eg GWT, Vaadin).
- Knowledge of Javascript UI frameworks (eg KendoUI, jQuery).
- Knowledge of automated web applications testing.
- Knowledge of Web Portals technology.
- Knowledge of ColdFusion.
- Knowledge of Perl.

Location: Brussels

Starting date: ASAP

Daily rate: 360 euro;

Duration: 600 days
