Senior Analyst Programmer Java c# for the EC - 382 Euros (Luxembourg)

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS/REQUIREMENTS

The main applications and utilities have been developed but require further maintenance and extension. The expert will focus on:

- Development, adaptation, optimisation and customisation of Java modules; Java applications and web interfaces.
- Customisation and integration of off-the-shelf tools in DGT's workflow, by developing and maintaining plug-ins and add-ins in Java and C#
- Making applications available to other institutions (mainly by use of and interinstitutional authentication mechanism) and adapt them to their changing environment;
- Adapting applications to the changing environment of DIGIT and DGT (software version upgrades, migrations to new Servers, adapting add-ins and plug-ins, etc.).

TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT

The main technologies used by the existing applications are Java, Oracle, LAMP and C#.

REQUIRED PROFILE

The profile required is that of a

SENIOR ANALYST-PROGRAMMER WITH SPECIFIC

expertise: (level 3)

as agreed upon in the framework contract. More specifically, the expert must demonstrate knowledge of the following elements:

- minimum 13 years of experience in IT, including 9 years as an analystprogrammer;
- strong knowledge of web and Internet technologies and Object Oriented programming in Java and C#;
- a basic knowledge of PHP programming.
- knowledge of relational databases, preferably Oracle and MySQL;
- proven experience in designing and implementing high performance scalable applications using a LAMP stack architecture;
- JavaScript/Ajax/DHTML experience;
- ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication.

Experience with multithreaded applications and web services, preferably with WebLogic, is an asset.
