ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years IT experience
- Java, EJB2, EJB3, JDBC, Spring, JPA, Hibernate, XML, Jasper Reports, Web Services, Struts 1 and 2
- Oracle 11g (or similar) SQL and PL/SQL (Packages, Stored Procedures and Triggers)
- HTML, JSP, JSTL, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, Dojo, CSS
- Ant and/or Maven Scripting
- Experience with Oracle Application Server (OC4J) or similar J2EE Application Server
- Flexibility and willingness to learn new technologies
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
- JBoss
- Migrating applications to different platforms (such as OC4J to JBoss)
- Refactoring code (such as from EJB2 to EJB 3.1)
- The portfolio also has a PowerBuilder based Client Server application.
- Knowledge of PowerBuilder 10 or higher is highly desirable.
