This is a fantastic opportunity for a Front End Developer to join a leading Media company based in Central London.

The Web Developer will perform a key role within the business; you will not be churning out website after website. You will be working on the full cycle of user experience and design optimisation, along with the development of new sites, micro sites, intranets and internal applications on various platforms.

The successful candidate will be passionate about new technologies and have a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies, and will actively share these with other team members with a view to incorporating these in future projects and staying ahead of the market and position yourself and the company as a digital specialist.

The Successful candidate must have:
* Excellent HTML, XHTML, CSS programming skills including HTML5 and CSS3
* Exceptional JavaScript programming skills
* Experienced with Object Orientated Javascript, including Backbone.js and Node.js
* A wide and varied personal portfolio
* Developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions
* Demonstrates passion for technology and follows industry trends.
* Background in the media and publishing industry would be an advantage
