Senior Analyst - Audit Readiness

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SENIOR ANALYST - AUDIT READINESS to join our client in San Diego, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluating IT processes, identifying relevant risks and documenting supporting controls. Will also be evaluating control design, determining control weaknesses and providing recommendations to BTS.
- Functions as a Senior IT Controls Specialist, executing assigned projects encompassing IT infrastructure, applications and business processes independently as well as within a group dynamic.

Job Qualifications:
- Strong customer focus and good listening, negotiation and problem-solving skills. Confidence and poise in working with line, senior and executive management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with technical engineers and non-technical business personnel.
- Demonstrated ability to write Narratives, Risk and Control Matrices, Issue/Gap logs and communicate audit findings to BTS.
- Superior analytical skills. Ability to decipher technical documentation, assesses potential risks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and communicate relevant information to management.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to plan own assignments, identify appropriate scope and execute according to plan.
- Demonstrates effective project execution skills, meets deadlines, prioritizes multiple tasks, manages priorities, and prepares timely updates of project status.
- Ability to work in a very dynamic environment. Skilled at frequently balancing multiple tasks and remaining clearly focused on team and individual objectives.
- Requires three to five (3-5) years of IT auditing experience.
- Familiar with Auditing Standards: SOX 404, SAS 70/SSAE16, COBIT
- CISA is required.
- Experience with auditing information technology general computer controls (ITGC) and application controls required.
- Experience with designing IT SOX controls is required.

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
- Financial services industry experience is preferred.
- Big 4 experience is preferred.
