The Senior Agile Program Manager is responsible for a broad range of product roadmap and release planning, program management, process definition and improvement, reporting and metrics, and facilitation support. She/He will also play a key role in further developing, socializing, and improving the Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) and Agile planning and development framework and processes for the organization, including working directly with Scrum teams, Product Owners, and Development and QA leads to increase the effectiveness and shared understanding of our process.

The Senior Agile Program Manager ensures the Digital & Mobile product development scope and broad range of product development projects and processes are effectively planned, aligned for delivery, monitored, and reported across multiple development organizations. The individual will also play a significant role in supporting program governance, producing market release and program progress reporting and metrics, providing business relationship management, and leading end-to-end process definition and improvement activities. Lastly, the Senior Agile Program Manager will support the rollout and ongoing support required to implement, administer, and support the effective use of Rally, the new agile Application Life Cycle Management tool.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Collaborate with Product and technology partners in leading, facilitating, and supporting product and technology planning at multiple levels, including planning at the strategic, roadmap, release, and sprint/iteration levels. This includes planning and facilitating release planning events and ceremonies, developing and maintaining an end-to-end release schedule for the program in partnership with Release Management.
- Driving program management and execution of large, complex digital and mobile product development initiatives, including scope, schedule, and budget.
- Provide Agile program leadership, strategic planning, and project management support to the Digital & Mobile programs and product releases comprised of multiple, interrelated, highly-complex projects in a very fast paced, dynamic environment with a heavily matrixed, cross-organizational delivery team.
- Serve as Agile Coach to Product Owners, Scrum Teams, Leadership teams, and other stakeholders in a wide variety of Agile/Lean development practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and XP, at the team, program, and portfolio levels.
- Define, implement, facilitate, and continuously improve cross-Scrum team and program level forums (eg, Scrum of Scrums, Release Planning, Retrospectives), processes, and practices for planning, executing, tracking, and reporting to ensure release goals are achieved.
- Provide consultation, guidance, and support to teams in ensuring alignment and shared understanding of the Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) and supporting portfolio management and execution processes, and the roles Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers and Testers play on each team.
- Serve as process consultant and coach to Scrum teams in understanding the Agile framework and processes, and how to be more effective and ensure continuous improvement and learning.
- Guide team members and stakeholders with understanding the capabilities Rally provides in best meeting portfolio management, execution, and reporting needs, as well as performing a wide variety of troubleshooting and problem-solving activities.
- Ensure the right information and metrics are collected from Product and Technology Leads, formatted and reported effectively, and provide transparency and visibility into the program's scope, progress and status. This requires ensuring that the right metrics are consistently captured and tracked in tools, reports, and scorecards.
- Develop and deliver a wide variety of stakeholder and executive presentations representing the business and technical teams. Create, maintain, and publish a variety of tools, templates, schedules/timelines, and training materials.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with counterparts in other business and technology organizations to ensure our program deliverables align with broader TechnologyMBA/Masters in Engineering or Computer Science a plus
- Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, SharePoint) required
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and/or Certified Product Owner (CPO)
