TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
- Bachelor's Degree, prior experience in Venture Capital, Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry preferred
- French Speaking ability a plus but not require, and flexible hours
- Calm and consistent nature with ability to organize, work independently and meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritize, be responsive and accurate in all operations
- Strong organizational/communication skills (both verbal and written) required
- Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
- Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in interacting with all levels of management and with global colleagues, excellent telephone skills
- Ability to prepare documents, presentations, and excel tables with minimal instruction
- Demonstrate proficiency in e-mail, MS Office suite, Outlook calendar and browser usage
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Reporting to the VP & Managing Director. The Senior Administrative Assistant will be responsible for administrative and coordination support of up to 4 senior individuals to help lead Venture Capital and structured investments for the Client.
- First line representation of the business to other functional groups and liaison between Paris , Cambridge and other Client offices
- Interfaces with staff and senior level managers, and the external network
- Ensures a smooth and efficient professional flow of day-to-day operations
- Efficient management of internal electronic systems to facilitate completion of tasks (Workday, Taleo, SharePoint, WebEx, Catalyst, Concur, NEXTS, etc.)
- Generating and managing financial processes including project budgets, expense reports and check requests
- Managing department communication for manager(s) including mail, email, calendar and website updates
- Making complex domestic and international travel arrangements
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Associates Degree or equivalent required
- Minimum of 5 years administrative experience using MS Office products
- Broad base experience successfully managing a diverse group of leaders with a primary point of support at senior management level
