Senior ADA Developer

Proteus Europe is urgently recruiting for a Senior ADA developer to join our client located in Brussels. This is a very long term project that would benefit someone looking for some stable work over the coming years. Our client is active in the aviation sector.

Minimal requirement for a developer role:
- A Bachelor or higher in Software Engineering
- Experience in OO design and development techniques
- Very good Analytical and problem solving skills
- Quality Minded
- Convinced of the importance of integrating automatic regression tests as part of the coding activities
- Good Team members
- Experience in using software configuration and change management processes and tools
- Ability to write/contribute to design documents
- Ability to work under tight schedules and pressure

Skills Specific for Senior ADA developer role:
- Experience with software design and high availability systems
- Excellent ADA 95 or 2005 programming skills (minimum 5 years of experience)
- Strong algorithmic thinking skills
- Unix or Linux: minimum 3 years of experience, including knowledge of a Scripting language
- Ability to absorb a large amount of complex information (being able to work on and maintain a huge code base)
- Knowledge of the Air Traffic Management is an asset
