Senior Accountant Job

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT is needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in JACKSONVILLE, FL.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Assist Controller with the Close Process and Account Reconciliation

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Preparation of Journal Entries with appropriate underlying support
- Take the lead on HQ initiative to convert all the existing account reconciliations to a new template provided by HQ
- Develop underlying Account Rec SOP's
- Prepare monthly and quarterly Recs during the term of the assignment
- Prepare and Support Monthly JE's for close
- Ad Hoc research and report preparation
- Review and Documentation of Standard Operating Procedures

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- STRONG Accounting background in MANUFACTURING setting - Five (5) years minimum
- STRONG Excel user
- Strong Oracle experience for Financial Reporting
- Extensive experience with closing and account reconciliation
- STRONG Depth and breadth of experience with Oracle Financials & Discoverer
- Proven subject matter expert advanced in Excel/Microsoft Office
- Four (4) Year Degree in Accounting
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in an accounting/auditing role in a manufacturing business
- This is a twelve (12) month contract, paying $28.62 per hour.
