Senior Accountant - Liverpool

Our client, financial services organisation is looking for a Senior Accountant to work on a project based in Liverpool in for 6 months.

Key Deliverables:

Support and development of an appropriate Financial Control environment
Development and maintenance of the internal control framework
Performing testing, risk refreshes and walkthroughs feeding back findings to the business to ensure the framework is subject to continuous improvement
Preparing control MI and analysis and presenting this to the relevant business area.
Liaising with the business to manage the closure of remediation
Developing and maintaining a networof relationships within their partner business area to keep themselves informed and up-to-date on business developments and enable immediate engagement when action or support is needed

Required Skills:

Qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA, QBE
Good commercial awareness
Ideally Internal or External Audit experience
