SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER - LEADING CME AGENCY - REMOTE!

My Client, a leading CME agency, is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join their ambitious and growing team. This position will be a remote role and often require meeting key clients in the Northeast (travel about 20-25%).

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for the development of innovative proposals and in securing funding for continuing medical education (CME) programs on all aspects of Virology, GI and/or Hepatitis C.

The Senior Account Manager will manage accounts as assigned from the GM and President. They will work with the GM and President to ensure all participation metrics, outcomes, and other relevant reports are developed and distributed to program supporters.

In addition to this, they will work with key clients to oversee all related grant procurement activities, generate and maintain timely, accurate reports and records of related activities and grant proposals, including maintenance of accurate and complete account information within the database.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree in science, business or other relevant healthcare degrees highly preferred
* Must have a deep understanding of current research and treatment of HIV, Hepatitis C, GI, and/or Virology
* 3+ years in sales, account management and/or direct responsibility for grant procurement role in a medical education company, ideally in online medical education programs
* 2+ years of developing grants and securing funds for educational and/or promotional programs in the field of HIV, Hepatitis C, GI and/or Transplantation
* Proven track record of generating business
* Working knowledge of the ACCME and other regulatory agencies' guidelines and policies in relation to commercially supported educational activities
* Excellent presentation, communication (oral and written) and interpersonal
* Current experience in use of MS Word, Excel and PPT is essential; experience with NetSuite CRM is plus
