The University is seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to join the Academic Technology Support Team. This Team supports the exploitation of technology in support of teaching, learning and research.

The Senior Academic Technologist's role will involve providing expertise about opportunities offered by technology to develop research proposals and work as part of a team that provides a reliable service to support projects through the full life cycle from proposal to implementation and support.

As Senior Academic Technologist you will be responsible for:

- Working alongside research leaders and teams to identify reliable, achievable and sustainable technologies to support research objectives
- Provide guidance on practical compatibility of proposed projects with other Warwick initiatives
- Manage liaison with all digital contributors and internal and external suppliers.

The Senior Academic Technologist will have substantial experience of:

- Selecting suitable tools to achieve research objectives
- Designing, developing and implementing software solutions that are robust and supportable
- Ability to translate user requirements into a complete solution
- Communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
