Senior 2nd Level Support

Senior 2nd line support analyst - Rome - 265 a day - 6 months contract

Senior 2nd line support analyst is required for our consultancy client has put in an urgent request for 2nd line support analyst, the position is technology focused and offers the chance to work in a large multicultural environment;

THE ROLE:

- Collect and analyse data for IT asset management
- Receive calls from 1st line support and respond in a timely manner.
- Design, write and test desktop utilities.
- Assist in developing and supporting customized Workstation installation kits.
- Provide 2nd level technical support
- Design, write and test desktop facilities.
- Perform software/hardware troubleshooting
- Perform the administrative functions required for the deployment activities including scheduling of deployment activities.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting of server group policy objects GPO's and desktop systems.

SKILLSETS REQUIRED:

- Minimum of 5 years experience in supporting Microsoft Office. Anti-virus and application software.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in deploying and troubleshooting PC hardware and recnt windows operating systems in a wide area network environment.
- Experience of laptop configuration troubleshooting.
- Experience in preparing and maintaining technical documentation and procedures
- Experience in providing remote support and resolve issues related to system services
- Excellent English (written and spoken) language skills with the ability to express complex technical matters.
- Experience of working with ITIL processes.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory user and Workstation administration
- ITIL foundation certificate.
- Experience of working in a helpdesk.
