Senior .NET Web Developer (S40)

SENIOR .NET WEB DEVELOPER WANTED!

My client is a leading government organisation looking for a Senior .NET Web Developer with excellent hands on web design & development and Web strategy, information Architecture and usability design experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Reviewing Web Strategy, Online Transaction model, Information Architecture and User interaction design of new and current web applications, and developing an integrated web experience.
2. Designing content, delivery and user interaction for both Web and mobile clients, and developing styles and templates for the development team.
3. Re-designing an existing online web experience to adaptive and native mobile experience for tablets and phones.
4. Consulting with internal and external stakeholders to develop, and enhance design/usability of current web applications
5. Performing usability testing and QA of developed products

Competency Requirements:

1. Senior designer level skills, strong hands on web design & development experience
2. Demonstrated experience of Web strategy, information Architecture and usability design
3. Strong demonstrated Front End development experience (HTML 5/CSS/Javascript/AJAX/JQuery etc.) 4. Demonstrated experience of Mobile web development, Adaptive & responsive Design, Mobile Apps & Frameworks for iOs, Android and Windows Mobile
5. Ability to work closely with Developers, technology team and business stakeholders
6. Social media and social apps experience highly desirable
7. At least 5-7 years of industry experience in design/creative/development roles
8. Ability to work under pressure, across projects and tight time-frames
9. Solid experience in a large, complex commercial environments desirable
10. Solid understanding of SDLC, and experience working with RAD/prototyping methodology
11. Client consulting experience desirable
12. Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Design, Technology or a related field or equivalent work experience.
