Senior .NET/Sql Developer

Senior .Net/Sql Developer required for public sector client who is looking for experienced software developers who can quickly learn their systems and deliver against objectives without close supervision.

Essential Experience:

-ASP.NET 4.0 including Web Forms and MVC 4
-HTML, CSS and JavaScript experience
-Microsoft SQL Server 2008 - 2014
-Experience using an Agile software development methodology such as SCRUM
-ASP.NET XML Web Services/WCF
-Interoperability with other applications using SOAP HTTP Web Services.

Desirable:

-TDD
-Experience of developing healthcare systems for the NHS or private sector

Key Tasks:

-Developing a new module of a C# and ASP.NET application to support an emergency supply service
-Making necessary enhancements and changes to the Back End SQL Server database
-Making other enhancements to existing modules of the application
-Ensuring the quality of the software delivered to the test team, by conducting sufficient unit testing
-Producing functional and technical design documentation
